Prof. Kapil Gupta is working as Full Professor in the Dept. of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Technology at the University of Johannesburg. He obtained Ph.D. in mechanical engineering with specialization in Advanced Manufacturing. He has ten years of professional experience in academic and research fields. Advanced machining processes, sustainable manufacturing, green machining, precision engineering, gear technology, and industry 4.0 are the areas of his interest. He has authored and edited twenty international books on hybrid machining, advanced gear manufacturing, micro and precision manufacturing, spark erosion machining, and sustainable manufacturing. He has also authored several SCI & Scopus Journal and International Conference articles. He is associate editor of Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science (Part C, Sage) Journal of Process Mechanical Engineering (Part E, Sage) of IMechE, UK. He is also serving on the editorial boards of five other international journals. He has supervised eight Masters and four Doctoral students, and three Postdoctoral research fellows. He is working on many international projects funded from agencies including the National Research Foundation (South Africa) and Royal Academy of Engineering (UK).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
